Letter describing a place of historical interest

Letter describing a place of historical interest

25 May, 2015

Dear Shuvo,
How do you do? Listen, I have some exciting things to tell you. Last week, we went to Bagerhat with my uncle and I had the opportunity to see the ‘Shatgombuj Mosque’ which is one of the most architectural [স্থাপত্য] beauties of Bangladesh.
The Mosque was built by Khan Jahan Ali. It stands on sixty pillars with its seventy-seven exquisitely [অত্যন্ত সুন্দরভাবে] curved [বাঁকা] ‘Gombuj’ or domes and not ‘Shat’ or sixty as the name suggests. Its wall is two meters thick and the interior western wall is decorated with terracotta flowers and foliage [পাতা].
There is also a lake like ‘dighi’. It was named ‘Ghora dighi’. There are also many crocodiles in the ‘dighi’.
To speak the truth, we had a very exciting time there which is really a memorable experience.

Yours ever,
Sujon Ahmed

Dear Raaz,
I have reached home safe and sound. But I will never forget the happy days I spent with you and your family. Your parents took affectionate care of me. You and your brothers and sisters always looked for my ease and comforts. Even your neighbours were so caring to me. I was really enchanted by your hospitality. I really don’t know how swiftly the sweet days passed off. It was really really wonderful. The memory of these sweet days in your home will remain ever-fresh in my mind.

Convey [জ্ঞাপন করা] my heartfelt thanks to your brothers and sisters, and my regards [শুভেচ্ছা] to your parents.

Your loving friend,
Fahmida

Letter on importance of sports and games

Letter on importance of sports and games

Dear ABC,
I hope that you are well. I received a letter from your mother the day before yesterday. In the letter, I came to know that you do not take part in sports and games. You must bear in mind that to be careful about only studies is not enough. You should also be careful of your health. Taking part in sports and games are the prerequisite [পূর্বশর্ত] of keeping good health. Sports are very important. Some people play sports for the money and fame, But I think the true meaning is to have fun. Children join clubs and makes friends. You can also enjoy sports because you know that you are getting exercise and it feels amazing to have muscles, doesn’t it? So, I think that from now you would emphasize [গুরুত্ব] on both your studies and sports and games.

Yours forever,
XYZ
