Subject: An application for setting up  a tube-well.

Dear Sir,

We, the inhabitants [বাসিন্দা] of your locality, would like to inform you that our Purbagram is quite a large village. It has population of about six hundred. But unfortunately, there is no tube-wells for public use in this village. As a result we are suffering [কষ্ট] much for want of fresh water. Sometimes we are compelled [বাধ্য] to use the impure water of ponds and wells.

I would request to kindly sink a tube-well in the village to save us from this alarming situation.
