Once upon a time,
there were two women. One of them had a baby but the other did not have. Both
the woman claimed [দাবি করা]
that the baby was her. She quarrelled and at last went to the court of King
Solomon. King Solomon was a just [ন্যায়পরায়ণ]
and witty [বিচক্ষণ] king. He wanted to
examine who was the real mother of the baby. So, he ordered the soldiers to
take a knife and cut the baby into two pieces. But the real mother rushed [বেগে ধাবিত হওয়া] to
him, kneeled before the king and requested not to kill the baby.
