Selfish donkey and the dog

There were a large dog and a donkey. They were good friends. One day they decided to go on a journey. They set out and were going together carrying a basket of bread. Traveling for some time, they became very hungry. They putdown the load and the donkey began to eat the grass that had grown by the roadside. The dog could not eat grass. So, he prepared to eat some bread from the basket. But the donkey tried to protest. He said that these are for our business. We should not eat it up. But the dog said that he was very hungry. The donkey proposed him to go nearby the jungle where there was a jack-fruit tree. The dog went there and found out a ripe fruit. He began to eat and sing. A wolf was there, he came out. But he found that there was a donkey and a dog. He preferred to eat the donkey. The donkey was very selfish and for that he was killed.
