Faithful Dog

Once there was a farmer in a village. His condition was moderately [মাঝারি ধরনের] well. The farmer had a pet dog. He loved his dog very much. Every day he fed it to its heart content. On the other hand, the dog also liked its master very much. The farmer had a number of cattle. The dog guarded them every night from thieves and wild animals. One night a wolf came and attacked the animals. The dog instantly [তাৎক্ষণিক] fell upon the wolf. There was a terrible [চরম] fight. The dog received a serious injury. The wolf was also unable to attack the animals as he was wounded too. So, he went away to the jungle. On the other hand the dog died after suffering from the injury. In the morning farmer went to the farm and saw the dead body of the dog. He couldn’t but cry. He could never forget his dear dog in later life.
