Nuclear Family

Nuclear family

The nuclear family or elementary family is a term used to define a family group consisting of a pair of adults and their children. I live in a nuclear family. Our family consists of four members such as my father and mother, my sister and myself. Nuclear family is getting popular nowadays because in such a family one can live according [অনুযায়ী] to one’s own will [ইচ্ছা]. The expenditure [ব্যয়] here is less than that of an extended family. In a nuclear family one may have much facility [সুবিধা]. He can enjoy his own life. He has no binding [বন্ধন] to anyone. The advantages of a nuclear family are stability [স্থিতি], legacy [উত্তরাধিকার], moral [নৈতিক] coding, skill building, shared responsibility, mutual [পারস্পরিক] support. The disadvantages of a nuclear family are that here he has to live alone. He has no companion [সঙ্গী] to share his joys and sorrows. He feels lonely. In recent decades, this traditional [গতানুগতিক] form of the family has undergone major changes, with increasing rates of divorce leading to single-parent families, remarriages, resulting in extended families. These trends [ধারা] and the resulting problems that they cause, especially for the children, has brought the advantages of traditional nuclear families back into focus. There is none here to console [সান্ত্বনা দেওয়া] one in distress [সংকট] or depression [অবসাদ]. But above all nowadays nuclear family is getting more popular.
