Computer is a modern electronic machine that is used for doing various things. In a very simplistic [সরল] term, the person operating the computer gives instructions [নির্দেশাবলী] and thus the computer works. Computer has a language of its own. It is called a programming language. The person gives instructions to the computer in a language that a computer understands. A computer stores information in its memory and uses whenever it is needed. The main parts of a PC are a centre processor with its disk drive, keyboard, monitor, printer scanner etc. The computer has become important part of our lives. It is used in daily routine work, trade and commerce, entertainment, games and sports, transport, educational sector, researching space and what not. It has done great wonders in inventing e-mail, internet and robot. Nowadays, computer helps to diagnose a disease. Computer is of great use to us also in the field of agriculture and business. It has lessened [হ্রাস করা] our work loads and made our life easy and comfortable. The uses of computer have multiplied over the years. Its functioning has become smooth. The device has become quite user-friendly and almost anyone can operate it with basic knowledge about the same. At present, lives cannot be led without computer. Computers are not only popular in offices but also at homes. Different people use this device for different purposes. It has indeed changed the life of people for good.
