Honesty is the Best Policy

Honesty is the quality of being honest. It also refers to truthfulness, integrity [ন্যায়পরায়ণতা], and sincerity [আন্তরিকতা]. An honest person cannot tell a lie. He cannot steal anything. He cannot deceive [প্রতারণা] anybody. He cannot steal anything. An honest person always follows the right track of life. He is liked by all. He is also respected by all. In fact, an honest person is rewarded here and hereafter. On the contrary, a dishonest person is hated and avoided by all. So, the dishonest man fails in every sphere [ক্ষেত্র] of life. He may be successful for the time being, but he has to suffer in the long run. Honesty is an important virtue that we should all aim to have. It helps to steer [পরিচালনা] us in the right direction in life and helps us avoid [এড়িয়ে যাত্তয়া] criminal activities. An honest person is of good character and lives a satisfied and contented [সন্তুষ্ট] life because his conscience [বিবেক] is clear. An honest person’s character is dignified [সম্মানিত] and graceful [প্রসন্ন]. Be honest and everything will turn out well for you, and you will come to realize [উপলব্ধি করা] that truly, Honesty is the Best Policy.
