Dear Sahed,
I am glad to receive your letter. In the letter you have wanted to know about the importance of tree plantation. I am now writing about it.

Today's world is riddled [ঝাঁজরা] with problems. Balance between flora [উদ্ভিদ কুল] and fauna [প্রাণিকুল] is the biggest problem in the world.
Cutting of forests is a threat to civilization [সভ্যতা]. Weather has changed significantly [উল্লেখযোগ্য ভাবে]. In some parts of the Earth there are either consecutive [পর পর] years of drought [অনাবৃষ্টি] or severe [প্রচণ্ড] flooding [বন্যা].
Trees do many things for human being, they seem beautiful and it keeps the air clean, reduce [হ্রাস পাওয়া বা করা] the harshness [কর্কশ] of the weather and help to eliminate [পরিহার করা] toxic [বিষ পূর্ণ] gases. There are many types of trees that benefit us. Air, water and soil pollution can be eliminated by the growth of trees. The trees not only make the soil fertile [উর্বর], but also to generate [সৃষ্টি করা] consciousness [সচেতনতা] in our lives. If we want to protect our civilization and culture [সংস্কৃতি], then we must plant more trees, rather [বরং] than that not only nurture [সযত্নে লালন] we should also protect them.

No more today, write to me soon.

Your loving friend,
Nawsin Rahman
