How to Make a Garden

            Making a garden is a long process of activities from the selection of land to the nursing of plants. There are several steps in the process. First of all, you have to select a piece of land suitable [উপযুক্ত] for a particular [নির্দিষ্ট] type of garden. Then the soil should be loosen with a spade. And, different types of fertilizers [সার] should be mixed with the soil in right proportion [অনুপাত] according to the requirement of the plants. The next step is the selection of seeds of good quality and sowing [রোপণ করা] them timely. It is important because “As you sow, so you reap.” It means that if you can select good seeds of good quality and sow them timely, it will give you good crops. After that you have to put fence around the garden to protect it from naughty boys and animals. Water is the lifeblood [জীবনীশক্তি] for plants to grow. So, the final stage of gardening is watering plants every day. Nursing is also very necessary for gardening. Therefore, weeds [আগাছা] should be pulled out regularly to keep the garden neat and clean.
