There are six seasons in our country. Winter is
one of them. The morning in the winter season is called winter morning. A
winter morning is different from others for its special characteristics [বৈশিষ্ট্য]. It is the season of mist and
cold. A winter morning is usually foggy [কুয়াশাচ্ছন্ন]. Grass and leaves of trees are
wet with dewdrops [শিশির ফোঁটা]. Things at a distance cannot be
seen clearly due to fog. The sun rises late. Sometimes sun is not seen because
fog is very dense. Everything looked hazy. Dew drops falling on leaves and
grass look like pearls [মুক্ত]. People cannot go out very
early from home. Being afraid of shivering cold, the old and the children
remain inside their houses. They gather straw or dry leaves to make fire and
keep themselves warm. The poor people bask [পোহান] in the sun. In the winter
morning people enjoy eating cakes or pithas and drinking date juice. The
condition of birds and animal’s beggar’s description [বর্ণনাতিত]. They feel happy to see the
rays of the sun. Nature looks very dull in the winter morning. When the morning
is very foggy and misty, there is every chance of fatal [মারাত্মক] road accident if the drivers
are not very careful to move. The scene of the winter morning gradually [ধীরে ধীরে] changes as the day advances.
When the sun goes up, fog melts away and people feel very refreshed. Then they
all start their work. In fine, a winter morning is very charming [মুগ্ধকারী].
