A Winter Morning




There are six seasons in our country. Winter is one of them. The morning in the winter season is called winter morning. A winter morning is different from others for its special characteristics [বৈশিষ্ট্য]. It is the season of mist and cold. A winter morning is usually foggy [কুয়াশাচ্ছন্ন]. Grass and leaves of trees are wet with dewdrops [শিশির ফোঁটা]. Things at a distance cannot be seen clearly due to fog. The sun rises late. Sometimes sun is not seen because fog is very dense. Everything looked hazy. Dew drops falling on leaves and grass look like pearls [মুক্ত]. People cannot go out very early from home. Being afraid of shivering cold, the old and the children remain inside their houses. They gather straw or dry leaves to make fire and keep themselves warm. The poor people bask [পোহান] in the sun. In the winter morning people enjoy eating cakes or pithas and drinking date juice. The condition of birds and animal’s beggar’s description [বর্ণনাতিত]. They feel happy to see the rays of the sun. Nature looks very dull in the winter morning. When the morning is very foggy and misty, there is every chance of fatal [মারাত্মক] road accident if the drivers are not very careful to move. The scene of the winter morning gradually [ধীরে ধীরে] changes as the day advances. When the sun goes up, fog melts away and people feel very refreshed. Then they all start their work. In fine, a winter morning is very charming [মুগ্ধকারী].
