Vitamins are organic [জৈব] nutrients [পুষ্টিকর পরিপোষক] required in small amounts to maintain growth and normal metabolism [জীব দেহের রাসায়নিক রূপান্তর]. Vitamins are divided into two groups; the fat-soluble [সহজে দ্রবনীয়] and water-soluble vitamins. Fat-Soluble vitamins include A, D, E, and K, Water-soluble vitamins include B and C. The water-soluble vitamins are dissolved [দ্রবীভুত] in body fluids [তরল] and distributed [বিতরণ] while fat-soluble vitamins are stored in the small intestine [নাড়ীভুঁড়ি].
