Sir,
With
due respect, we would like to lay before you the following facts for your kind consideration

and necessary action.
The
admission to the first year class of our college closed yesterday. The classes
of new first year students will begin in a week. This is the tradition [ঐতিহ্য]
of our college to welcome the new students with a formal [আনুষ্ঠানিক]
reception [অভ্যর্থনা].
We can arrange a cultural [সাংস্কৃতিক]
program with light refreshments for them. The program might cost 20000/-.

we, therefore, pray and hope that you would be kind enough to give us
permission to hold the program and sanction the required money.
